From NJ- no II yet ! Has anyone with low numbers been given any II for tristate area schools?
I have great clinical & lab experience. Appreciate any thoughts on my chances ? Thanks

In case I need to reapply, would you suggest taking a few postbac courses to improve GPA or retaking the MCAT?

Raise the GPA and add more volunteering hours.
Rewrite essays and have multiple eyeballs read them.
You're fine for DO schools as of right now. Did you send an app to Rowan?

I applied Cooper MD not Rowan- I have a lot of volunteer hours and still tutor homeless children in science every week. I have no clue if my essays are good or not sadly, they are well written but not sure if they are what schools look for. Do applicants with my grades and scores usually hear by now if they are going to get an interview? If not, when would you expect I would hear? 16 schools still have me listed as under review. thanks for your thoughts

You can hear tomorrow or in March. Not directed at you, but too many SDNers have this mindset of "I sent in my apps...where are my interviews????"

It's a seller's market.

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.
