I expected a 4.0 in orgo II this semester and ended up getting a 3.5, and now I'm worried about how this will affect my chances. I got a 4.0 in orgo I, if that means anything. It's the only non-4.0 I've ever received in a science course, and this may be the most absurd thing to post on this forum, so please let me know if I'm being psychotic. I'm hoping to at least get interviewed at a top 10 school.

You answered your question. A 3.5 is an A-/B+. Why are you worried about that?

The top 10 schools have median science GPAs at 3.7 to 3.9. So somewhere those kids got B's and C's. you are fine.
