MD & DO 3.54 cGPA, 3.4 sGPA prev MCAT 497, projected 508 in June. School list help?

Hi all,

I'm not quite sure how to interpret MSAR to see which MD schools I fit in so I'm hoping you guys would be able to help out 🙂. Will also need some help with DO schools (definitely applying to touro, AZCOM, and Western-Pomona).

ORM, but disadvantaged. CA resident. Recently graduated 5th year.

GPA: 3.54 cGPA, 3.4 sGPA
MCAT: taken a few Fl's ~averaged 508; actual test two years ago: 497.

EC:
-Clinical Volunteering: ~300 hrs hospital/clinic
-Non-Clinical Volunteering: ~1000+ hrs buddhist organization, ~100 hrs tutor at-risk children
-Organizations: Part of fundraising board for a free clinic, 1 quarter
-Research: 2 posters: 1st author, 3rd author; 3 years basic research neuro
-Paid Clinical: temp MA for a month
-Paid Non-Clinical: waiter ~4 years, lab assistant ~ 2 years, current private tutor ~1 year
-Shadowing: 50 hrs peds, 28 hrs Int med, 12 hrs geriatrics (DO)

Hobbies:
-weight-lifting
-tennis
-language learning
-hiking

Other:
-Deans Honor List for four years (not continuous)
-upward trend 4th->5th year
-Recieved two research grants
-recieved several scholarships during uni
-Got a D in Biochem summer of sophmore year. Thought I could get ahead w/o ochem, but failed. Took it again following summer, recieved an A.

LoR:
2 science, 1 research, 1 leader from buddhist organization (for MD), 1 DO (DO), 1 humanities.

-Touro
-AZCOM

Any feedback for MD's and DO's would be much appreciated!!

It is difficult to give school advice without your 2nd MCAT score. With a score of 500 of higher you are competitive for these DO schools:
ARCOM
ACOM
BCOM
WCU-COM
LMU-DCOM
UP-KYCOM
WVSOM
UIWSOM
VCOM (all 3 schools)
NYIT-Arkansas
RVU-Utah
ATSU-SOMA
