I am curious about my chances with those schools. I am a non traditional student with an unrelated BA and MS in Library Science. I also have over a year of experience working in a hospital (current job as a tech).

AMCAS Complete 7/26
Secondaries all completed withing 2-3 weeks.

IIs from:

Rejected:

Mayo (didn't really have a chance but figured I'd try)
U of Chicago

Stats-wise you should have a decent chance of an interview offer at any of them, assuming you have more variety and longevity of ECs than stated which suit the mission of the school, compelling PS, supportive and appropriate LORs, no legal issues, and decent interview skills.

I should add that I had quite a few ECs in my original undergrad (BA in '08) that included a student radio show, debate team, newspaper, and working in a management position during the summers. I was also involved in instrumental and vocal music my freshman and sophomore year.

I also studied abroad in Russia in '07.

During my Masters (MS in '09) I was involved in running and held a leadership position with a student group. I was also employed as a grad assistant.

After my masters, the past two years, I have mainly been taking classes, working full time at the hospital, and shadowing. So I do not have that many current ECs due to my schedule. I do volunteer every now and then through the events that my hospital unit promotes.

I definitely would not call my ECs strong, but they are there and ecclectic. I do not really know what the implications of them are.

Don't forget, he's super-interesting because of the MS in Library Science.
