So I am applying this cycle for Fall 2009 and I wanted to know what people think of my chances..

Logistic stuff
Graduated College and doing MS in pharm (1 year)
Major: Biology and Psychology
3.7 GPA (at a top university)
3.6 science Gpa
Practice tests were PS 10, VR 12, BS 10 (so I was expecting a 30ish score on the real thing)
But the real test was: 8/07 10PS 6VR BS 9 (yeah verbal hurt alot, but I really think it was nerves and double vision during the verbal section test)

Extras:
Shadowing and volunteering over 200+ hours
honor societies
senior honors thesis in bio
lab work in psychology
health advocate for 100+ hours
service fraternity
dance
planning service trip to New Orleans, post Katrina
among other things

Currently, my AMCAS is almost done, just tweeking my PS left and I am taking August MCAT, I know thats uber late but i had a pretty bad injury on my right side that prevented me from retaking sooner.

My goal is simple: 10 PS, 10 VR, 13 BS and I do think its possible.

Schools= All NY schools, Temple, UPENN, Thomas Jeff, Georgetown

Let me know what u think 🙂 (please be nice 🙂 )

Hope your August MCAT goes well- is so I am sure you are golden!

Unless you had a really bad day, a jump from 25 to 33 is unrealistic unless you have worked very hard to improve your prep for taking the MCAT. A bio major scoring less than 10 in the BS section is a serious disconnect, and would not look good to adcoms. Make sure you are well prepared for the MCAT, since two tests with similar results won't help.
