I'm not really sure how Canadian schools value EC's, but I'm assuming it's at least similar to U.S. schools. With that in mind, you definitely need more experience. You'll get drilled at interviews, if you get any, about how you know such a demanding path and profession is right for you. That's not a good position to be in.

Also, if I recall correctly, many Canadian schools strictly screen at 10/10/10/R on the MCAT. Good luck.

Nah, 10/10/10 is not what all canadian schools need. Where is this university you speak of? which prov? If you're in province, the standards are lower, but you still need like a 32-33+ to be competitive

Oh Toronto.

Well ontario has tons of schools with varying degrees of difficulty getting in. a 3.73 should be alright. but most of them drop your worst 4-5 classes or choose your best 2 years when calculatin GPA. For most of those ontario schools, try your hardest to get an 11/11/11/Q and you'll be set no matter what.

Yeah, I am applying for volunteering in this fall (08) and will be doing so for another 2 years before applying in fall(10)... also I am also applying for US universities....

Thanks again for all your opinions.
