Hey SDN, just looking for some help on my school list because I feel like very little of it is actually a good match. Would love any suggestions for additions.
State residence: NJ
Year in school : rising senior
cGPA: 3.86
sGPA: ~3.7
MCAT: 516 (131/129/130/126)
ECs: Leader of multiple clubs, lobbied congressman, >1000 hours of Veterinary technician work
Research: ~800 hours over 2 different labs, no pubs yet but working on a first author pub.
Volunteering: ~175 hours clinical, 100 hours nonclinical
Shadowing: ~200 hours over many many specialties

So 16 schools in all. Before my MCAT score came in I had Columbia Penn and NYU on there because I was scoring 518-519 on my FLs. Probably taking them off, I feel like the score drop puts those schools out of reach for me. Do you all agree with that assessment? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
