Just received my MCAT score today. I got a 509, which is a little lower than I was hoping for but I am not going to retake.

Here are some of my other credentials:
Missouri resident
University of Kansas, Chemical Engineering Major, 3.95 GPA
Clinical research intern at Washington University in St. Louis (~350 hours)
Undergraduate research in KU Chemistry department (~500 hours)
Presented research at National ACS Meeting
Engineering Intern for Orbital ATK (they are a defense contractor for US Army) (current but will be ~500 hours by end of summer)
Shadowing (~20 hours, although I got to see a lot of surgeries when I was a clinical research intern at WashU)
Volunteer with Girl Scouts (~30 hours)
Volunteer at front desk of university health center (~50 hours)
Member of and hold leadership in multiple on campus clubs

Here is the list I am applying to so far:
University of Missouri
Saint Louis University
Washington University (St. Louis)
University of Kansas
Ohio State University
University of Wisconsin
University of Minnesota

I know it's a short list but I was kind of waiting to see what my score was before I added any more. Any suggestions of other schools to add?

Wisconsin and Minnesota accept few non residents with your MCAT. You could add schools such as:
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
Creighton
Carle Illinois (if it opens for 2018)
Oakland Beaumont
Tulane
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
New York Medical College
GW
Quinnipiac

You have almost no clinical experience/ volunteering. You should really try to get some volunteering in a clinical setting, shadowing is only passive.
This looks more like an MP/PhD application , than an MD one.

There's a new MD program with a super pro-engineer mission. Something in the middle-ish of the country, maybe illinois? Try your google-fu with that. Seems like you two would be a good match.

The clinical research intern position required me to be in a children's hospital for 15-20 hours a week for 8 weeks. During that time, I got to read medical charts to determine which patients were eligible for our study, meet with families whose children were undergoing procedures to discuss our research study, and enter the OR to collect samples and watch various procedures. I feel like when I describe this on the application, it is a significant clinical experience? But let me know if you think otherwise.
