Hi everyone,
I am applying to medical schools now and just got my MCAT back (11VR 9PS 11BS). I have a 4.0 GPA from a small liberal arts school.
-200+ hours clinical volunteering
-200+ hours non-clinical volunteering
-200+ hours shadowing in various specialties
-2 summers and one semester of research
-Lots of ECs/leadership: Neuroscience Club President, Scholarship Chair of my sorority, pre-orientation team leader, dance company member, tour guide, work study at school, TA, tutor etc.
-Lots of awards: Full tuition academic scholarship, leadership scholarship, ODK Leadership Honors Society, Science scholarship etc.
-I'm told my LOR's are very good
-Pennsylvania resident
So far I have applied to:
-Temple
-Drexel
-PSU
-Thomas Jefferson
I am considering:
-Albany MC
-Albert Einstein
-Boston U.
-NYMC
-UConn
-Mayo
-Tufts
-Rochester
-Penn
-U Vermont
-The Commonwealth Medical College
-U Maryland
-NYU
-Tulane
What do you think of this list and what should I add/get rid of.
