34mcat, 3.70gpa, complete on Sept 1, but no interviews..

complete to most schools between sept 1st-14th, 34 mcat, 3.7gpa, good extracurriculars with some research (no pubs), applied to 24 schools, been rejected from 4 (2 pre-secondary, 2 post), interview hold at state school, and silence from the rest....is this normal or should I start worrying?

It's too early to worry. Since you're late (by SDN standards) you should expect interviews around 1.5-2 months after completion. Even then, don't worry, past posters with our completion dates have reported that a lot of the interviews come through Dec. and Jan.

Still, as I am in the same situation myself, I know you will still be worried as hell. If you need to blow off some steam, drop by the Panic Thread for a healthy dose of premed angst!

I don't think it has to do with you being late. Just cause those particular schools no like you. But if you applied broadly, you should hear from some schools. September is on the late end so don't go by when people get interviews on this forum.
