Hey guys, just trying to see if I should add more schools to my list.

Biology Major (graduated)
36 MCAT | 3.6 cGPA | 3.5 sGPA
GPA has a significant upward trend; for sGPA, it was a ~3.00 for first half (2 yrs) of undergrad, but for second half (2 yrs) of undergrad it was a little over ~3.90
GA Resident
Not a URM

EC's:
Clinical Volunteering: 40Hrs
Shadowing: ~120Hrs
Nonclinical Volunteering: ~175Hrs

MCG*
Mercer
Morehouse*
UCF
VCU
Wake
U Wash
Tulane
Georgetown
NYMC
Drexel
Sidney Kimmel
George Washington
U Miami
Albany
Creighton
Loyola
Quinnipiac
St Louis
UVT
Virginia Tech
Rosalind Franklin

Reaches:
Emory*
Warren Alpert
Boston
Tufts
Vanderbilt
Case Western
Geisel Dartmouth

* schools (Emory, MCG, Morehouse) are schools I'm a reapplicant at (I applied in October 2014... bad idea). Otherwise, every other school I'm a first time applicant.

Thanks for the help!

Are those your only ECs? Any research?

Overall school list looks good. If you wanna cut, start with Gtown, GWU, Brown.

Brown favors their own grads; Dartmouth likes non-trads, I hear. Replace with either Vanderbilt (yes, Vandy), Duke, Emory, Hofstra, Temple, SLU, MCW, and or Rochester. IF you have some significant research EC, definitely Duke and Einstein as well.

Unfortunately, I don't have research EC's. Thanks for the help so far everyone!

Dartmouth likes non-trads, but is definitely not opposed to traditional students if you're a strong candidate. The number 1 reason to nix Brown on a list is not that they favor their own grads, but they have a 3% interview rate - that's literally the same as HMS's acceptance rate. GPA might be a little low, but upward trend certainly helps. Lack of research may hurt at certain schools (on your list, only Vandy and Case, and Duke if you decide to apply there). The list + the changes that have already been suggested by Banco, Goro, and gyngyn looks fine.

Definitely remove Morehouse, GW, Georgetown, U Wash, Brown. I think Dartmouth is fine to keep.
