I took the DAT for the 3rd time yesterday and I am so happy. I thought I would get defeated by this test once again. Reading everyone's threads has helped me so much. I hope others in my situation realize there is still hope!
1st attempt: PAT 16

I took it a 2nd time to try and increase my PAT, QR and GC scores....and ended up doing worse on the other sections...
2nd attempt: PAT 18

So at this point I didn't know If i ever wanted to take it again. I applied with these previous scores and got an interview at my state school..but was rejected in December...so I took it once last time.

The only things I'm disappointed about is my PAT, which I was pretty surprised about. I bought the 10 test version of CRACK PAT and on the last 5 tests I never scored lower than a 20. I thought my reading would be higher as well since the first 2 times it was my highest score. I was kind of counting on it to boost my AA a bit higher...but overall I am very pleased! My GPA is a 3.87 overall and 3.82 science. I have high hopes this time so I hope it pays off. I used Chad's videos, destroyer and Topscore and I would definitely recommend all three to anyone.
I am so thankful I found this website. I did not know about it until after I took my 2nd DAT and I think it definitely helped answer a lot of questions and it's nice to see everyone being so encouraging.
