Hi all,
I am beginning to really lean heavily towards anesthesia, I know I am only a 2nd year, but I have a pharmacology background and from what I have read about in here and what I have briefly seen in hospitals it seems to me to be a good fit.
So my question is this, I wanted to know what you all would recommend for books going into my third year.
One more question, what programs in the New England area would be good to rotate in during fourth year? Right now I am thinking about Bay State in Mass and Albany Med.

Baby Miller is a good book.... but it can be dry and a bit of a slow read. Lange Clinical Anesthesiology is considerably longer but much easier book to read.

I would pick between the two. Read the basic chapters first.... then the more advanced stuff as you encounter it during rotations.
