Hi, I am an Australian-Chinese medical student. I have to start planning my 8-week elective for next year, and would like to go to Beijing or Shanghai (open for other suggestions as well). Problem is, there aren't a whole lot of information on that. Has anyone tried that before, or have any contacts that would help? Thanks.

I'd look at Taiwan as well. Friendlier people, better air, less chance of getting beaten up by angry patients, etc.
