Hello guys

thank you all for checking my thread out. Maybe this is silly but it is worth asking. I am about to received my first 4.0 semester (chem 2,Phys with cal, and genetics, nutrition) now my question is the following... Those of you guys that have gotten a 4.0 before, did it become easier for you to achieve it again after? Is it like those things you do for the first time, and then after they become relatively easier than before you did it? :/ sorry for the silly question

don't worry, not a stupid question at all. yeah i'd say it does. it's all about developing good habits and giving yourself some structure, knowing what works for you in terms of how to study and what doesn't. plus, now that you have one you'll have incentive to keep the streak alive.

it does become a whole lot easier. once you're there you just expect a lot more from yourself in the future. keep up the good work!

Yeah. I think it becomes easier because if you get one it means you've started to get some good study habits. Also, once you get one, you don't want to regress so that made me work harder.

From my personal experience... No it doesn't get easier because the difficulty of classes you take go up as well.

When I started post-bacc, it was just typical pre-dents being taken as a part-time student.... wasn't so bad.... Things turned inside out when I quit my job and started pushing full time with upper level biologies.... I saw myself spending more time with books than I wanted to.

It also depends on how many credits you start loading up. a 14 credit perfect 4.0 semester is not the same as a 17-18 credit semester.

It's only 4 classes. Looks like a pretty average schedule for a science major.

i remember one semester i took ochem 2 w/ lab, bio 2 w/ lab, calc 3, and physic e+m w/ lab plus two online classes, psych and phil. 18 units plus 6 online...4.0.

you'd be surprised what you can handle if you keep challenging yourself. no matter how intense your hardest semester of undergrad was, it'll be easier than any semester in d-school, so you want to train yourself to handle that kind of rigor.

yes dude, we can both keep making 4.0 semesters. if we can do it once, we can do it everytime....i think we just realized our potential!

Congratulations on the 4.0 semester! I'm in my 3rd semester now and have yet to get a 4.0 (3.9 was the closest I've gotten) but I'm hoping to get it next semester =D
