Just got the fourth waitlist letter in the mail today! I guess it's time to start preparing for next cycle...what do you think? The funny thing is I know for a fact, two of them went really well and I still got waitlisted! WHAT'S GOING ON??

where did u get waitlisted?
Some schools have lots of movement on their waitlists while others are useless

i can tell u that by NYU and Temple there will certainly be movement.
i have 2 friends who were on NYU's waitlist and got off it around May and they are both there now.

I can relate. Yes, it's frustrating, but just hang in there. We all have significant chances of being accepted off the waitlists.

For a while, I took it so personally because I thought I was a very competitive applicant. UNLV rejected me after my interview, even though both my interviewers told me I did a great job at the interview.

I finally realized that **** happens. The screening process for schools aren't flawless, but they try their best. Just start preparing your application for next cycle and try to see if you can make any improvements to it... just in case. Besides that, all we can do is just twiddle our thumbs and wait for any news.

you will probably get off the waitlist or they might offer you admissions for next cycle. i remember reading something like that on this board. do you guys think its possible? im waitlisted as well.

just hang in there. I had 6 interviews this year and its my third time applying but I finally got that one. It sucks to wait but when you DO get that golden ticket, it will be worth it!!!

😕 Hey Sportygirl, i completely feel your pain. This is my 2nd time applying, and i am praying i don't have to go through another cycle. I am waitlisted at MWU, and that is the school i really want to get into. They don't give you a number.. but they said their might be movement on the list.. i don't know... does anyone know how many people are on that list by any chance?? I'm starting to lose hope.. and on top of that.. what are your chances of getting to go to the school after being waitlisted?

If you got an interview at Penn but no acceptance from anywhere else, I'd guess you didn't apply to enough schools. Break open that piggy bank next cycle and try the renowned shotgun approach.

I applied to 11schools but my app was on hold until dat in December and they were on the weak side so I know that is where I need improvement for next cycle. It was my second time taking them and I rushed to take them and it was also finals week for my regular classes. I know it was a stupid move but I wanted to get the scores in asap and schools were telling me that too.

I dont think u can beat my 6 waitlists/6 interviews
