hey everyone!
Im currently MS2 at US allopathic school. i was wondering if there was a good study schedule out there for step 1. our school will give us around 4 weeks of complete dedicated study time. the 2 weeks prior will be kinda dedicated but there will be required 3 hour mini case discussions M-W that "should help prepare us for step 1"... no exams or classwork required during this time.
anyway i already started studying on and off for the step 1. My goal is to have gone through FA once before the 4 weeks of study time given to us. I have gone through more than half of pathoma as well and ill probably have gone through 60% of UWORLD before the allotted 4 weeks of dedicated ( i have been doing them systems based after i read a section of FA, average is like a 60%.)
for dedicated, I was thinking of doing a chapter a day of FA and repeating the cycle until my exam date. so in the morning i would go through a single chapter of FA.
However, i dont know how to do uWORLD ( do i do them system based or random) and i also dont know how to fit in pathoma. Also should i try and get through uworld as much as i can in the 2 weeks before dedicated and restart uworld?
where do i fit in the NBME full length exams?
Guys i really need a structured study schedule and i dont care if its not proven or anything. I used one of the well known SDN MCAT schedules and i rocked my mcat even though i was a subpar student who went to a noname undergrad.
thanks guys!!
