When I looked at the tuition chart for first year students on AACP, I thought that the following years would be very similar. But to my surprise, in the 4th year some schools have a hike of 10K! How is it for some of you?
At my school, tuition is higher for students who started later. The people who just graduated were paying 5900/yer while new people are paying over 10K.

Once I start back in August, I will be going to school without a break until I graduate. I'll go one semester, then rotations begin March 1st. We have 48 weeks of rotations, and must pay tuition the entire time. There is no summer off between years 3 and 4. There is no more spring break. We only get Christmas (I think). One of our rotations is "4 weeks off", but we still pay for it. Any rotations past May are considered 4th year for tuition purposes.

The address below in only for 1st year students. I wasn't clear in my post, I made it sound like the chart had tuition costs for the other years also. I actually found that information by directly contacting the schools.

So that's why there is a hike, I didn't realize that more time is spent in school in the 4th year.

I don't know what to make of that chart. According to that, 2004-05 tuition for Midwestern-Glendale was $19,787. Tuition from Midwestern's website states 2005-06 tuition is $28,229. Although I understand tuition rises each year, $8,000+ increase seems a bit much.
