my turn is almost here to take the DAT. however, im running of out study ideas. I keep practicing QR, working on my crack dat pat skills, gone over questions that i have gotten wrong on practice exams, and reviewed bio for 1 last time...what else should i be doing? thanks for the tips.

don't worry, you're good! i have another week left and i decided to take 3 days of work to study i'll be taking it 9/15. What I am going to do is to go over destroyer (3rd time 🙂 )) my bio notes do 3 more PAT tests and take 1 more TS. I think when you feel like you ran out of ideas what to do to study you'll be fine!
btw what do you use to study for qr? i bought a gre book to practice word problems but can't find a good resource for trig. any suggestions?

my brother had some old SAT II books from when he took them a few yrs back. I just used a princeton review SAT II Math book. I found it realllly helpful for laying down the foundation. I liked the GRE book but at times i thought i was wasting my time. I also have crack dat math, but i dont like the wording of their problems. Check out the SAT II Math book though at BN, it may help you out. OH i also went through destroyer QR 2x and kaplan qr subject tests.

not like these rookies who do it till they get it right, you've been at it till you can't get it wrong....

its game on man just keep ripping through everything again and again any weak areas I'd spend 1 or 2 days on the rest of the time re-go over the basics esp in those odd areas....

Maybe go wikipedia pianos, FRAP, ethics, and those harder reading passage sections in case the Gods decide to hate on you and throw them your way....

if you have any more practice tests i'd do those otherwise i think you got it👍

5 days is alot of time. You have some solid time to study some last minute stuff. Keep it light though!! You have quite the test ahead of you.

It is mentally exhausting just because you have so much riding on that day. Get your nutrition in order and gas up the car. Lay of the coffee so it'll actually give you a kick in the pants that morning.

Call some friends and family and neighbors to make sure they call/knock on your door to get you up that morning!

Good luck!! It's not that hard....just emotionally a rough day. Afterwards I drank beer and watched mythbusters! yes, i am that nerdy.

ALL of the kaplan online tests for the sciences (subject, section, and full length) are outstanding

I didn't do the math ones so I can't comment of those (didn't have enough time poor planning on my part)

The PAT tests are pretty terrible if you have NOTHING then i guess do them but I advise another program for the PAT section.

yup all the science kaplan materials were great except for PAT. QR is challenging but i dont know how it compares to the real thing. definitly do as many questions as u can get your hands on, it will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses..gl! btw when are u taking ur exam?

definitely game on man. thanks for the wiki idea and all the support homes with your constant TS=28 lol i better bring it home otherwise ur going to be even more disappointed than me hahah..i did wiki FRAP but never thought about piano thanks man...
my plan for now is:
today: pat, qr, orgo/math flashcards, bio/orgo lab techniques, review chem
sunday: TS #3 (how close is this to the real thing?)
monday: stupid school, qr, pat, read bio notes, orgo flashcards
tuesday: pat, qr, read bio notes, orgo flashcards
wednesday: do reallly reallly realllly good.

How are u doing on your topscore/achiever tests?
I get the feeling that I'm ready too however, my practice scores don't show that, which is pretty frustrating.... 🙁

on achiever got aa18-20/ ts18-19
on TS i only took the first 2..i got 19aa/18ts and on the 2nd one i got 21aa/22ts..who knows what caused the jump but im happy lol

the only advice i can offer is make sure u go over ur practice exam. that is key b/c the chances of them inventing some new crazy problem for u is slim. usually a variation of what u have already done. be confident too!
