Hey guys,

I've been studying for about 3 months, approximately 7 hours per day. My DAT is this Saturday, and I, for the life of me, cannot study one more word, of any subject. I took Topscore test #2 today and obtained the following scores:

Bio-18
Gchem-18
Ochem-18
Pat-21
RCT-20
QRT-22

All that I really plan on doing before my test date is taking the Topscore exam #3. My conscience is telling me that I am being lazy and slacking off in the most crucial week before the DAT, while another part of me is telling myself to blow off some steam and relax before the big day. Is anyone else experiencing something similar? If anyone has done this in the past.. do you feel that you would have been better off seizing every moment to study, even if it means forcefully, or do you feel that the R&R proved to be beneficial?

I know this may sound like a ridiculous post, but I don't know how else to decide which is worse.

Thanks!!!

I hear you dude. If you have any CDP tests or CDM, do those. Not all of the, but a few.

Also, what I did was make a .doc word file of each subject and under each subject, I'd write what I don't know (for example, under GCHEM, I put VSEPR because I still don't get that crap) so then I'd go and watch/read from Chad or Kaplan.

Also make notecards of the Destroyer roadmaps and make love to it.

dude i am right there with u i have 5 days left too and im on fumes...i just did topscore today too went over it and thats pretty much it...I also have two sides tugging at me the one that wants to relax and the other that says u dont know CRAP! loll i think we need a nice balance...Im trying to take frequent breaks like every 2 hrs go get out get coffee, food, go for a drive etc...def no stress needed this week...good luck to u and the rest who are on deck this week.

To OP, I feel you man! My test is Thursday and im trying to prioritize what can help me the most, ive decided reviewing as many chad videos and chad practice tests as I can, doing a CDP a Day, and my remaining topscore is going to be my focus.

And I have to agree with one very important statement from 2pacclone23:
Also make notecards of the Destroyer roadmaps and make love to it.

My first topscore Ochem before I memorized that puppy was a 13.

After replicating that entire roadmap from memory upwards of 5 times, today i scored a 20. It makes a huge difference.

Aside from that do not stress it. Realize that you have worked your butt off over the last few months and you will do fantastic!

I haven't even looked at Destroyer nor Chad's videos. Would I sound completely insane if I said I don't even know what the roadmap is?

I've heard that roadmaps are just reactions. When i took Orgo 1 and 2 in college I made an index card for each and every reaction I encountered. I have all of those memorized (a few hundred notecards) - is that the same concept?

Yeah he put together a web of common reactions (and some uncommon) that you see in sequence on the DAT. There are 6 roadmaps with like 30 or so reactions each (plus 6 more small roadmaps with commonly tested off the wall examples like butadiene and 1,2-1,4 haloadditions)

If you have all your flashcards memorized I wouldn't worry though.
