My stats are: 518 MCAT, 3.83 cGPA, 3.6 sGPA
In addition to my stats, I have a decent amount of volunteer/research experience.
BUT...
I had 3 disciplinary actions from my university for alcohol in essentially my first year of college. I talk a lot in my primary about how I turned myself around, focusing on volunteering. My grades also showed an upward trend with a 4.0 junior year. AND I got a letter of recommendation from the director of student integrity, the very person who reprimanded me earlier. But is the discipline just too much to overcome?
I feel that my primary application was strong. However, looking back, I found a couple errors such as a grammar error and a missing period.
I submitted my primary in June and submitted secondaries to a few low to mid-level schools in august but have yet to hear back. I did get put on Albany's wait list within 24-hours of completing my file.
I thought I was a fairly strong applicant but now I am thinking this might not be the case. What do you guys think?
