You have great stats and solid activities. I would only suggest that you apply to all of your Florida state schools (I think you're missing a couple) and add a few mid-tiers such as Einstein, Rochester, Cincinnati, Hofstra, Georgetown etc. as your list is a pretty top heavy at the moment.

1.Be very careful with including those 500 hours of clinical research as clinical experiences. Are they really patients? Even you call them “subjects” and not patients.
2. Mission trips are not impressive to ADCOMS. Spend some time searching these forums for mission trips or voluntourism .
3. could you tell us about your nonprofit? What is the focus, who are you helping? I think you need some more nonclinical volunteering focused on the unserved/underserved in your community. Get out of your comfort zone and find people that are very unlike yourself that need help. There are lots of these opportunities even during the pandemic.
Good luck.

Thanks for your comments.

In response to the first point you made, we are taking samples, doing check-ups, and administering medication to them. A clinical trial subject is also known as a clinical trial patient. So, I would think so? It seems like essentially the same thing. And doesn't the AAMC only separate employment by medical/clinical or non-medical/clinical? It's a clinical trial job so surely this would be on the paid employment medical/clinical section. I'm not 100% sure though.

I'm aware of voluntourism. I figured I should be careful and word the activity in a way so it seems less like that. Do you think it's worth keeping in the app?

My non-profit promotes fitness and good nutrition in order to raise money to buy prosthetic limbs and devices for those who cannot afford them. We are planning on doing some talks in underserved communities as well. All information we use is from approved studies by the CDC, FDA, American Heart Association...etc.

Let me know what you think. I appreciate the advice!

Thanks! I'll add some more of those mid-tiers like you suggested for sure.

I don't want to sound too picky either, but the public state schools I didn't list are schools I flat out would not want to attend. I've been to them, and know people who attend their medical schools. I've heard some stories and would rather hedge my bets in other places.

Are there any schools you think aren't worth applying to on my list? I need to make room for those mid-tiers lol. I'm thinking I'll add like two of them.

That's fair as long as you're aware your state schools are the best bets. I always like to phrase it this way: if they were only acceptance, would you reject it and reapply? If so, then don't add them - but if you would suck it up and go anyway, then definitely include them.

With regards to your list, I would say that these schools are reaches (i.e. you're in range but it's just crazy competitive):

Stanford
Columbia
Harvard
NYU
Duke
Yale
University of Chicago Pritzker
Johns Hopkins
Upenn

I'd also say that the state schools like Colorado and Wisconsin may be better replaced with private mid-tiers (though they do take a decent amount of OOS, so if you really want to apply there, by all means).

Add ALL FL schools.

And in the mean time, bulk up the non-clinical service ECs. Your app and stats merit them.

List is a bit top heavy.
