I have a question from people who have taken the exam or may know an answer to this. Its well known that Uworld is the best qbank out there at the moment and covers the highest yield.
Since pathology is such a vast subject. Do those 600+ Uworld questions in pathology accurately reflect the highest yield topics tested on Step1??

I wouldn't pay much attention to the number of questions you find in each basic science subject. UW is so integrated in its questions that you'll find yourself using a lot of your path knowledge to solve problems that will be labeled as pharm, micro, etc... so while those 600 questions may not accurately reflect pathology in its entirety, the question bank as a whole sure does.

yeah, the categories in uworld are pretty soft. But I'd caution against thinking that uworld predicts the breakdown of the real thing. Every test is different, and the breakdown is biased in favor different subjects on different tests. so to do well, you really have the know the $hit outta everything (or just get really lucky), cause you might get a dozen questions on pneumoconioses and nothing at all on GI.
