***6th/7th Batch: Any luck?***

Dentalhopeful,
Thought I'd contribute to your post. My app was completed mid-august. I have not heard a word from any of the 13 schools I applied to. This could be for several reasons, my low DAT score and average science and cumulative gpa. I have similar stats in the way of EC's, perhaps more than most but what I thought would set me apart is the fact that I'm a 30 year-old non-trad/career changer. Lots of other stuff to talk about myself but I'll spare the details.
Not that I'm worrying or anything but if anyone else is around this application time (august) would like to share some statuses, I think we would all like to get a sense of others situations.

Applied mid august but new dat scores weren't sent until last Friday. My first ones weren't bad but second is much better minus qr. I applied to 7 schools. I don't have a state school so I'm considered outta state for all except 2. No rejections yet either so I guess "no news is good news." One of my buddies got accepted in May 2 years ago to UTHSC. He also didn't get an interview there till end of November. I don't care when or how I get in, as long as I get in haha.

I submitted my application in the 3rd batch but I was not complete until August 16th due to one of my lors taking a very long time. So far 4 interviews but I'm pretty sure that's going to be it for the cycle. Have you called to check on your status?

Thanks for that information. I also submitted early (first batch) but was similarly delayed because of a slow LOR. I have gotten one interview so far and all of the other schools have confirmed that my application is under review. But the two schools that you haven't heard from yet--Howard and ASDOH--are the only two schools we have in common. So, hopefully that's not because of the later submission. I'm just hoping for some post-December interviews.
