I read two to three articles from scientific american, or new scientist everyday before I started studying. Some of the article were actually very interesting and I improved my overall reading speed. Also, I got better at reading on a computer screen. After a while, I got better at retaining the information and summarizing the paragraphs in the back of my mind without even knowing.

To perfect my strategy, I started with CDR, then moved onto Godfrey, then achiever. If I were to do it again I dont think I would use Godfrey and ahiever. Topscore and Qvault is a must in my opinion. Length AND number of SD questions was right in between Qvault and topscore.

hi, do you mind posting your practice scores? Did you do anything differently the second time you study? And what else did you really do to improve your RC? Where are the places that you can read find scienctific journals to read? I have done practice with Top score and i find the gen chem too heavy in calculations. In the real test, the calculations are that heavy as well?

3.3;;; hahah yea its kind of low. gpa was 3.8 up to sophomore year. then everything started going wrong....... academic probation with 1.8 junior year. and blah blah blah

Also, so you just read articles from Scientific American to improve your abilities? That sounds like a good way to go for me if you think it worked for you.

I can't believe schools rejected you when you applied. Scores from yoir first exams looked decent. What schools did you apply to? What is your GPA? Your scores looked good enough to get in.

I applied to mostly oos friendly private schools. tufts, bu, nyu, usc, etc.. gpa is a little low:3.3 It also doesnt help that I am Korean... lol..

I agree with Biomolecmed. I just do not believe them when those schools did not accept you. You GPA is good enough. They are playing games here. Good luck dude. If you can, apply to different schools.

You can access them for 30 days for $50 i think? maybe cheaper. That's the entire DAT section. Lot cheaper if you just need a particular section.

lol. Dude, I doubt being Korean is a disadvantage. I just think that they placed someone they know in your spot. This sucks. You did well and I believe you deserved an acceptance letter.
