I just got back from the testing center!
I am soooo glad to be done and over with!!!!

Here are my scores:

PAT: 22 (93.4%)
QR: 18 (84.7%)
RC: 23 (89.8%)
Bio: 22 (95.9%)
GC: 21 (87.0%)
OC: 22 (90.4%)
TS: 22 (95.6%)
AA: 21 (93.4%)

Overall, I thought my test was quite easy compared to other people on this forum.
CDP was right on the spot. Actually my CDP scores were from 18-21(once).
I did not practice RC at all and ended up with a 23!!! 😱

I also did not practice much for QR, which reflects my score. haha
But I am happy with what I got.
Everyone is right about skipping all the wordy problems and get through algebra first! then do the word problems.

I hope I get into dental schooooooool!!!!! 😍

Let me know if anyone has any questions about the test, I am more than willing to help out!!!

Great scores!
How did you end up going at RC? Did you read the whole passage first or S/D after looking at questions? I have my DAT in 2 days and am wondering how I should tackle it (I haven't studied for it either haha). Thanks!

Honestly, I did not practice at all!
I got three very interesting passages that I really enjoyed reading.
They were all scientific so I just breezed through them.

I spent around 20 min for each passage.
I read the first five paragraphs just to know what it is about.
Then, I would tackle the questions in order....
And somehow I just kept finding the answers to the questions! haha

It sucks if you get some physics or piano passage b/c it's def easier to get biology related.

I can only hope that happens for me as well, I have heard physics and piano passages are just god awful! Great job again! I can only hope to do as well as you!

I actually did Math destroyer, up to test 9 along with qvault and topscore.
I honestly don't know why people recommend math destroyer over qvault, topscore.
All the problems in the math destroyer were same problems over and over again.
I thought qvault was pretty good with variety of problems.

I recommend doing qvault for math. Do couple of tests (timed) and solve all the problems that they have. It should help tremendously!

Also, during the 15 min tutorial, I began to fill out the sheet with all the conversions and trig identities that I memorized that early morning. And there it was, about 5 questions on the test.
It was really helpful to have all of these things written out infront of me.
I suggest you try this method too!

I'm with you. My QR was terrible in the beginning. I kept getting 16-17's on it, and I kept running out of time. But Qvault really helped me on that. I don't think Qvault was all that useful in regards to chem, but it was a gold mine for bio and math. I got a 25 in Bio and 21 in QR

I totally agree! I loved the bio especially. After reading Cliff's AP, I would log on to qvault and answer all of the questions that corresponded to the subject I read that morning! To tell you the truth, I had about 2 exact same questions on the test!!!

I think it's very important to get used to the type of questions that they can ask you! Yea, timing is important too....but you have to know the stuff first before worrying about the time.....

And with QR, I did some qvault questions and did not bother to learn anything new because I started studying for QR section very late.... about 2 weeks before the test date.
Oh yea, I learned how to do the ellipse problem...and of course it was NOT on the test!! hhaha

Hey great job on these scores! How were u doing in qvault?
I thought qvault was most helpful on bio.
My scores were from 18-20. But when i got to test 6, i realized that i should really focus on the questions rather than feeling down about the scores. I highly recommend you to keep reviewing the questions on qvault and know inside out why you got it wrong or correct!
