i would choose Barry if i were you (and that money's not a factor in the decision making). your DAT scores are really good, and with a solid year your GPA can be stronger too. i dont think you would want to wait 2 years before going to DS.
 
nope but i did look into the program (requested info package and such) as I am in a similar situation as you (my GPA is weak but DAT is strong).. but for me to attend Barry U is too expensive (given that I live in Canada and all that) so I decided to just take one more undergrad year at my own university instead. by attending your state school 2 year program, arent you completely ignoring the fact that you might get in after a year? i sure wouldnt want to drop out of a program like that... thats why i think you are better off with 1 year Barry U program.
 
From what i hear Barry and Nova have the same instructors for some courses, that could help your chances....
