77 shadowing hours?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't think it will hurt but in my experience <100 or so is not ideal. I had high stats but only 80 hours when I applied and continued to shadow through the cycle and received less interview than I thought I might. I think having >100 would have been helpful. With that said, I was able to get in to a few schools.

Some schools require 100 when you apply; I know UofMich explicitly say this and won't even review applications if it's less than 100. I know other schools have fewer amounts like 80 but I would check each school.
So I know most schools recommend 100 but I only have 77. Is this going to hurt me?

Obviously don't apply to a school that explicitly states they want x number more than you actually have. Other than that don't sweat it.
