Here are my scores:

Section.......Top Score Average.... Real DAT........Rank
PA.....................19.........................20 ...........88.2
QR....................18.5.......................19 ...........82.1
RC......................21........................20............65.6
Bio.....................18.5..................... 20............89.5
GC......................18........................20............80.8
OC......................20 .......................29............100
TS......................19........................21............92.8
AA......................19 .......................22............96.1

My thoughts:

PA: The foldings were easer then i have been reading on here...The angles were tough and a few of the hold punce ones were tough too. Apature was pretty easy.

QR: I lost my thought early and gained it back later. I was going to come back to 3 or 4 but finished right on time. Hte ones i was going to come back to were doable but would take time. Overall, they were straight foward, but took some time and tricks.

RC: Had way more comprehension than anticipated. Asked to summerize authors feelings etc. Finished right on time. I am a very slow reader and poor at analyzing "authors feelings" etc. Im good at finding anwsers though, if they are right out of the passage.

Bio: had the sea urchin question, the CO2 in blood question. This section was very straight foward as well. I was thrown off by a classification one and a few that involved cloroplast and dark reactions.

GC: I thought it went better than a 20. It was very easy. I must have had some simple mistakes.

OC: Well, i have tutored OC for 3 years and was bummed out by my Top score scores and knew i could do better. I am assuming that it was impossible to get a 30 in this section??????? It was very straight forward. Alot of reactions, one aromatic nmr, alot of carbonyl reations, one extration involving adding a acid etc.

Well, there you have it. I was overall satified with my scores. Getting thrown off on the QR reall TO's me. But the OC really smooths things over. My goal was 20's across with a 19 here or there at worst...looks like i hit it!!!!

PS: Was it impossible to get a 30 on my OC section?

first i like to congratulate you on some fine scores.. I wish i had those scores.. but good job.. my question is i really suck at math.. And I was wondering are there any particular areas where i should focus more on like word problems and trig.. And i was wondering are the problems lengthy and tricky?? sorry and i have a second question?? whats the Co2 question, ive heard a lot about the sea urchin and the answer to that one is something about sperm penetration.. but can you help a feller out.. thanks a million

alot of it is just being able to derive the formulas from the word problems. From there, its just algerbra. It was just basic algerbra and trig. otherwise, nothing to fancy. How is the bulk of CO2 transported in the blood (what form?)

Did you use any techniques for the RC? I think my biggest problem is searching for the answer after I have read the entire passage.

If any, what technique did you use for the angle ranking? Did the testing center let you use the "Foldable Ruler technique?"

the first 2 passages i read pretty throughly, then anwsered the questions. I had to still go back for most, but about 40% of the time i knew the anwser and ws simply double checking. The third passage i had like 17 minutes left so i just went straight to the questions. I find that fustrating. When they ask a few broad questions, its good to read the passage first. As long as you are a decent reader (in terms of speed) just read it first to get the feel, then go to the questions.

I didnt use any technique for the PAT. I had a dry erase sheet so there wasnt much i could do, plus i didnt want to take the chance anyway of getting in trouble (if you could get in trouble?). I was doing well with topscore (12-13/15 average on angles)using no aids so i figured why bother.
