To those of you who submitted on 8.24 or after...

1)Do you guys have any status updates for BU yet? I hate calling schools when I know they get a bizillion calls everyday. so just want to make sure that I'm not the only one without a word from them.

2)Does your NYU status still say under review/waiting for additional info or is that gone by now?

I would still call them to get the most direct answers, although you might want to do that in the morning when the call volume is significant lower.

yep, app mailed 8.24 with no aadsas or email update from bu. last contact i've had with them was 9.4 with an application received email. paid the fee online on 9.4. hopefully hear from them soon.

saw somewhere in these posts that some people with earlier mailing dates did eventually get status updates on aadsas. can't remember where I read it though.

I got an application complete email from NYU on Oct. 8 but my AADSAS still says that they are waiting on materials, but I called them and they said that my file was complete. I got the same email from BU and have not received an update from them since then.

my app was mailed on 9.1. i called nyu yesturday because my status has been "received/waiting additional information" for about a month. they said they hadn't gotten a chance to look at my app yet. i paid the app fee for bu a week after submission and haven't heard a whisper since.

For NYU, it is still "Received/Waiting Additional Information" since 9/10. Nothing from BU. I called both schools on 9/29 and they told me my application is completed. NYU told me it'd take a while to process since they have many applications.

to give you perspective my app was sent 7/24, I just got my invite from NYU today for end Oct- early Nov dates.
BU sends out invites in batches so one was sent early Sep for pre Dec invites, their post Dec invites will probably go out early-mid Nov.
