so thanks to everyone who recommended chad, he is the ****.
OOOK here:
Bio: 20
ochem: 20 👍
gchem: 20
qr: 19
rc: 16 (piano..enough said)
pat: 18
ts: 20
aa:19
break downnnn ( i cant believe i finally get to do one now)
materials: CDP, Kaplan online course, ap cliffs, chad, old texts, barrons.
bio: let me just say i am good in bio because im a bio major and i was most prepared for this section BUT i think i got a little unlucky with the draw. it was hard. and im actually going to say it was RANDOM because it was not much like the kaplan stuff i was studying. you gotta know some of the stuff from old classes and things. really was hard to study for. i didnt think they were fair with the bio section. some weird diagrams too.
ochem: i went in thinking i was going to fail because i couldnt remember ANYTHING for the life of me. It obv turned out better than i expected. know ur reactions, know the logic of the reactions, what is happening, why is it happening etc etc. they test how well you know the concepts, its not as reaction based as everyone on sdn says.
gchem: straight forward, if i had more time to study i wouldve killed this. just practice, know ur formulas and you'll be fine. i struggled with gchem the most at first when i was preparing because i took it 2 yrs ago and couldnt remember most of it. chads videos are good for this.
rc: i got the PIANO. listen, i dont take what ppl say on here seriously most of the time but whoever said piano is hard was not joking. those questions were a little out of the ordinary compared to normal rc stuff...WTF??? the read isnt hard, the questions are a bit tough. no real time issues though. others were aspirin and cell communication.
qr: nvr practiced, never really did the math on practice tests either, i guess im just good at math. it wasnt too bad though, just skipped around, did all the ones i could do and made educated guesses on the rest.
pat: this was my strongest going in, i always did 20+ in kaplan and CDP. I think again i was unlucky with my draw. **** was hard.
Overall, i think it was a little unfair with the rc since it is the reasion i didnt get a 20 but w.e it happens right? i was surprised to even pull off a 19. i thought i was going to get 16 or something. the science freaked me out... i thought i had done poorly but i guess i did better than i thought.
word of advice: give it all you got. dont pay too much attention to all the people on sdn. just make sure you are comfortable with the information and that is what you need to come out victorious.
im in the 7 yr program with NYU so i assume 19 is enough for me but if it isnt, i may retake it.
whatever.
if you guys have questions just pm me.
goodluck everyone.
