I never see anyone talking about a 9th batch of applicants... Are we really the last batch?!?! :[
 
I'm 9th batch. Haven't heard anything yet.
 
I think batches will continue to go out until AADSAS closes, right?

Are really considered THAT late!? :[ I always thought we were still "okay" in terms of submitting... :T But people are making it seem like we are super super super late and.. I'm losing hope that I'll never get a call :[

Congratulation. I got an invitation from NOVA today too, I'm 10th batcher, my application sent out last friday.
AA 21, TS 23, PAT 24, RC 17, QR 20
oGPA 3.8, sGPA 3.9
 
Congrats! I cant wait to see the school I heard its beautiful.
 
Me too, the campus is really nice, my cousin graduate from NOVA in 2001.
BTW when is your interview? Mine is on 12/12/12 =)

Not to sound lame, but there's a thread for 9th batch people I think. Anything we tell you in this thread would be from the 8th batchers. 🙂

No problem!! I totally get you'd wanna know if we heard anything in since you're probably waiting on when you'd hear notice from certain schools. 😛

@ mochi - Sorry to hear that.. Checked this thread for your stats, feel like I've seen them but couldn't find them. Remember them being good though. All of your letters are in?

Hmm.. if you did see my stats, I might have mentioned them elsewhere in another thread or in a chatroom 😉

My GPA is a 3.4 -cries- and my DAT is 18/19 across the board. -cries some more- haha.

As far as my extracurriculars, I was a President for my University's Biology Club (100+ students) and held an office position (with up to 3 clubs at one point) throughout all four years of my academic college career... I have 1000+ hours of chairside and business dental work experience, and 700+ hours of volunteer/community service tooo...

I have 4 LOR (2 from doctors I closely worked with, and 2 from very highly acclaimed biochem/molec bio professors at my University).

All my secondary/supplementary letters, and fees were submitted and I received notice from my schools that they received them

I applied to 23 schools but I'm from Hawaii so I'm OOS everywhere... :[

I feel setback by my GPA and DAT but.. I have so many extracurricular/volunteer/community service hours... -sigh- I feel like all that time, effort, and hours were for nothing... ><
 
So in addition to NOVA, Midwestern,IL and Iowa....last friday i got an invite from Marquette!

My stats are 19's and 3.82 sGPA, 3.76 cGPA. Normal/average/expected extracurriculars 🙂

Hey, what did your AADSAS say under Marquette before you got the interview? On mine, Marquette isn't even listed yet.

3.4 isn't bad! Id say average for most of those accepted, right? It might not be attention grabbing, but you haven't been rejected either. Sit tight I bet you will land a couple interviews. You probably had plenty to say in your PS with all those ECs.

I really hope you applied to UMKC.. Sit tight, the invites will come eventually.

NOTHING! lol i was getting nervous because they had sent me an email after i submitted that i was missing a letter and DAT scores. So i knew those were coming in. and then 3-4 weeks later i get an email that i have an interview. nothing was updated or even displayed on AADSAS. i dont know if they use it b/c i even had to call to schedule my interview unlike other schools which do it online.
 
Just got invited for a second interview today at University of Detroit Mercy (UDM)!!!

Hey, I just had my NYU interview and it was a great experience! My interviewer was really nice and he had clearly read my file and didn't even need to ask the why dentistry question. Questions were very laid back (strengths, weakness, time management).

The school is amazing and I cannot wai until December 3rd to find out!

I just heard back from the University at Buffalo! I'm out of state. It's post December though. Oh well! I'll take an interview any way I can get it!

I scheduled for Friday December 7th, and she said all of October and November are filled.
 
I have yet to heard back from any of the schools I applied to..
I got all the confirmation emails saying that my apps have been completed and they are under reviews.
Should I contact them and see whats going on? or should I keep playing waiting game..
 
Did anyone of you 8th batchers received ANY contact from USC by any chance? I'm not talking about interview invites, just confirmation or information for their own portal or ANY information? The reason I ask is because USC cashed my check but they haven't contacted me about anything whatsoever.

Please let me know!!
