9/14m/10 ??

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
sooo... I really don't know how a 9/14M/10 stacks up.

Obviously a 33 is good, but it's a goofy 33, especially with the 14M...

Any feedback?

First time test-taker b/t/w....

If you don't get 14 14 14, then you are not accepted in american medical schools. LOL, You are fine man, I wish I would have your score.

Lol, thanks bud.

Obviously, I realize 33 is a good score but that breakdown is just goofy.

14M? Who the F*** gets a 14M??

Honestly, I heard the PS is not so important to medical school adcoms. Plus you didn't have any score below a 9 so there are no red flags anywhere. Most schools either consider the VR as most important or consider the BS as most important, in which you are fine with both criteria. So don't even worry. There is a kid who got 14 7 14, you wana switch with him? I bet not despite the giant 14 in each of the science sections.

Who gets a 14M, you ask?

Someone who has picked up on the fact that the writing section is completely pointless and is not used as a diagnostic tool by the vast majority of med schools.

Protip: It doesn't matter at all unless you are applying to Canadian schools...

<----------------- I am crushing MCAT Verbal during prep so far (Philosophy/Economics undergrad) and I plan on writing a completely bull**** formulaic essay spending no more than 10-15 mins on it. Instead, I will be relaxing/ taking a mental beak the rest of the time and resting for Biological Sciences.

I would take a 14M any day.
