Anyone else expecting their scores tomorrow? I'll get this started off so we can start bitching.

Soooo...

UWorld:
First pass = 45%
Second pass = 79%
UWSA #1 = 232 (two weeks out)
UWSA #2 = 244 (a few days out)

Kaplan QBank: 67% or something like that; I think it predicted 240 or thereabouts. Don't remember exactly how much of it I did. Maybe half of it?

USMLE Rx: Don't remember the percentage. I think it also predicted me at about a 240 though. Did about 80% of it.

My prediction for the real deal: 106/10

Hey guys, getting mine tomorrow, I hope. The scheduling permit link has also been disabled for me, and I took mine a day after you did, Texas Triathlete. Incidently, I went to high school and my family still lives a few miles from your med school, and I have an old acquaintance in your class. Do we know what time these things go online? 10:30 to 11 am tomorrow? I heard that some people get an email notice?

I have celebrations/commiserations to plan! If I don't take the food out the freezer now it totally wont be defrosted in time....

Would have liked a little better, but like I said, I didn't have my best day. I had to put off my exam for financial reasons, and I think that hurt me a little. But I'm going for EM, so I think I should be in good shape, assuming I take care of business on COMLEX tomorrow.

First of all CONGRATS man!...I have been reading a few of your posts, but unfortunately I have not been able to find one in which you tell us what exactly you studied (ex: FA, Kaplan) and which qbanks you did (ex: UW, kaplan, usmlerx)...also I want to know how long did you prepare for the exam? If you can please post in detail this info that other like myself can follow your studying model...if you already posted this info somewhere else, then please just provide me with the link...as I said above I can't find it. Congrats again!

By the way, I was just laughing at myself because I saw this thread last night and was getting all anxious (and keeping my fingers crossed) for all you guys expecting your scores today. I mean, this is an anonymous forum and all, but in a way it's like we know you because we've been following your journey through this process. Anyway, I'm getting all sappy and rambling, all I want to say is I am super happy for you!

I will probably try to throw together something a little more comprehensive when I've got more time, but just a quick rundown:

Did ~50% of Kaplan (I think), UWorld twice, ~80% of Rx, and DIT.

I think I was hurt significantly by stringing it out so long. I would have been better off taking it after a six-week cram session, rather than trying to study this crap at the end of every day on rotations for three months. And by "significantly", I think I would have been in the 240-250 range if I had done it the right way. But I'm not too worried about my score. No EM programs need scores like that, except probably ones I'm not interested in. The only difference here is that I think I'll put a little more effort into Step 2 now than I might have otherwise.

COMLEX is tomorrow. I hate taking another one of these things, but I think the good thing is that I'll be at ease. I know my score on USMLE, I did well, I'm not likely in any danger of failing COMLEX, and I've already been through this. There won't be any pressure, and I'll be relatively at ease.

Do you know if the FA Q&A book is the same as USMLERx bank? I have the book from 2009 and was wondering if I could go thru that after a fast run thru UW bec dont think I have the time to dedicate to 2 different question banks. Any advice is appreciated.

Congrats on the score man. I'm also going for EM and I think you can definitely work with this and get what you want.

I also think it's incredible that you studying for it through your rotation. Was there a conflict that made you have to postpone or did you not feel ready? I think you did great regardless. Good luck tomorrow.

I was just wondering if you can please share with us what your study plan was (ex: what books did you use, which qbanks did you do, how were you scoring on them, which qbank was the real exam similar to, etc.). Any information you provide will be helpful to us! If you already posted this somewhere then please link to that post...I have been looking for it but can not seem to find it! THANKS!

Man, I can't imagine waiting 8 weeks for the score. It's torture!!!
But on the other hand, I see no reason for them to keep your score away from you for THAT long unless you've done EXCEPTIONALLY well and they need a thorough investigation into your exam. lol.

I did NBME 6 yesterday and only got 510 , the 3 digital score is 225.

My lower parts are sk and muscle, pychia, neuro and physiology.

I am now going through the first run of FA, still have ske, neur,psych, renal, respi,repro to go. UW finished 1600, based on system, timed. average correct is 60~65%, some parts around 69~70%.

My test day is Oct 7. will have 10 days off to full-time study

any suggestion? do I still have chance to shot for 235~240 ?

Yes you can ... because FA is the key and you are going to unlock your targeted score.
Complete UWORLD and FA and re-assess yourself at least a week before the exam if possible and you feel so... but 10digits u can improve with simply goin in n out with FA that's what I think...
