So I didn't sleep a wink last night and took my test at 8:30am today. I felt unprepared, exhausted, and sick as a dog. I even considered not showing up, but ended up taking it anyways and I don't regret it one bit. Here is my breakdown:

PA: 20 (81%)
QR: 17 (76.6%)
RC: 21(88.9%)
BIO: 20 (91.8%)
GC: 21 (91.6%)
OC: 25 (98.4%)
-------------------
TS: 21 (96.2%)
AA: 21 (97.2%)

The perceptual ability was tougher than Kaplan, in my opinion, and on par with Crack. Most of my angles were obtuse so watch out, guys. I think I could have done better if I had some sleep, but hey...what can you do? The cubes and folding were a breeze...much much easier than Crack.

Two weeks before taking the exam, I was doing pretty awful in biology (15s), but after completing some Kaplan workshops and doing all the DAT Qvault benchmarks, I was able to increase it by a huge amount. Don't let other forum members tell you otherwise... oh...and Allan's notes were pretty clutch! Anyways, the biology on my exam was pretty damn tough. The questions were long and the answers were a bit obscure in my opinion.

For general and organic chemistry, I used Chad's videos which were a great, but my exam did not focus on calculations so much. Apparently, my friend only got one or two calculation problems, but I had about 7-10. Even so, they were much simpler to calculate than chad's examples. Both the general chemistry and organic sections were very simple and conceptual.

The QR was a beast and right at the start they threw like 6 trig problems in a row at me...yeah...i didnt even bother solving those. This section was way different than Chad's and Kaplan's examples so I really don't know what to tell you guys. If anything, it was just like the 2009 QR section. They asked me some weird standard deviation problem too.

I guess I am pretty happy with my score. It was certainly a huge surprise to me since I expected to flunk it. I think a Kaplan Blue Book, Chad's videos, Allan's notes, and Crack PAT are enough for this test. I know the Destroyer series of books is reccomended here a lot, but I think they are overkill. Their roadmaps are not too shabby, though.

Your scores are beautiful, congratulations. How long did you study for and what'd you use for Bio?

I studied lightly for one month and hardcore for another.

While studying, I realized that there was so much information I never learned in school. I never learned anything about plants (besides photosynthesis), physiology, animal behavior, or even development. So the first step I took was to hit those subjects hard with a Barron's AP manual that my friend lent me. Then I completed all the Kaplan workshops (they really get to the point), and I finally reviewed Allan's notes, which were phenomenal. During this time, I was doing all the DAT Qvault benchmarks which where super valuable to me. Their questions were setup JUST LIKE THE DAT and they only feed you high yield information. For 20-odd bucks, it was money well spent.

I just recently bought DAT q vault and got two 16s and a 19 on the benchmark tests, would you say that they are harder than the actual DAT questions? easier? or the same difficulty?

They felt easier to me, but at the end of the day I did better on the real DAT than on any of the ten benchmarks. Go figure. The questions on the DAT just seemed drawn out and odd. The answer choices are very vague too. I felt like each question had multiple correct answers haha...

Awesome review, I really appreciate the insight you shared regarding chem calculations and math problem types... my test is friday at 1:30...eek!
