Right now I'm taking 12 hours in summer school then another 15 hours in the Fall. I'm doing this in order to free up time in my last semester in order to devote extra time to studying for the MCAT. I'll be taking OChem II + the lab and Biochemistry. I'm wondering whether or not this is looked down upon in any way by medical school admissions. Thanks.

Obviously, a schedule that is more rigorous is going to be appreciated more than a less rigorous one. That said, taking some time for the MCAT is smart, and you're clearly making up time in summer, so as a year, it's going to just as rigorous overall. I think you'll be fine.

As long as you get your degree completed on time, I doubt it hurts to shuffle things around a bit.

I really dont think they care how rigoris your schedule is.
Good GPA plus Good MCAT == successs 🙂

thanks for the responses
