I just posted a thread in this section a few days ago. Since we have similar stats, feel free to check it out. Just make sure you can do retakes at Harvard Extension, because if I recall correctly, it states on their site that you can't take certain classes if you've already received credit for them at another institution.

And off topic, but what is NCAA flag football? Is that flag football played by by NCAA and NIRSA flag football rules?

I don't plan on retaking classes if I take the post bacc route. Rather, I want to take upper level bio courses since my neuroscience major requirements have left me with many untaken bio courses. In doing this, I have the opportunity to hopefully show a near perfect upward trend.

And I believe NCAA is played according to nirsa rules...

It seems that an SMP would do you better since even if you haven't taken upper level pure bio courses, you've taken lots of Neuro classes for your major which means your sGPA probably won't budge much.

I'm doing a post bacc to take upper level bio courses because I wasn't a science major in undergrad, so I'm able to boost my GPA by like .3-.4 with 8 courses. I imagine it would be different for you. Download the AMCAS excel sheet that is floating around here and calculate what your GPA would be with x amount of courses in post bacc to find out.

A high 3.2 - 3.3 sGPA is within reach if I take the minimum of 24 credit hours post graduation. I believe that is still low for MD competitiveness...what do you think?
Too low for MD - thats still more than 1 standard deviation below average cGPA for accepted MD students.
In fact, 3.24 would be 2 std dev below average which equates to next to no hope.
(if you dont understand std dev look it up on wiki and you'll see the %s)

Yeah, that's what I thought. How competitive do you think my app will be for the tufts MBS?

3.14 and a decent MCAT (31+) - you'd be in with a shout.

A 3.2-3.3 with a 31+ MCAT - then pretty solid at most SMPs
