WTF? Well previously the wages were low but kicked back via copius amounts of alcohol and fine dining....How many months did your classmate apply for? I had a pretty high GPA myself and I sometimes found myself on the 2nd-3rd month for programs that weren't technically that competitive.
Aso - clerkships? "Liveable" wages? What the hell is happening in Houston.

Also howu h grade inflation is there that 3.9 is only top 20 and not like top 2 percentI know someone who recently requested Houston HCA West but got declined despite having a GPA above a 3.9 and is in the top 20% of their class. How does HCA even choose who to offer their clerkships to if they are not giving offers to those with stats like that? Don't give me the whole GPA/rank does not matter since we all know for a fact it does when they are selecting clerks for their program. Are they known to choose only people who grew up in Texas??

That's what happens when multiple people in your class get 4.0s and the class size is smallAlso howu h grade inflation is there that 3.9 is only top 20 and not like top 2 percent
