Are there pre-reqs for the PCATS as well for Pharmacy School admissions?

I'm a first gen/minority student so my parents aren't able to advise and my counselors at my CC have been unhelpful, for the most part. Two of my adviors didn't even know what the terms PCAT/PharmCAS meant. 😱 I guess that's what happens at a community college.

I plan to take all my pre-reqs at my community college and apply for Pharmacy school. Is this option advisable? The only reason why I have not transferred to another uni is because I go to my community college for free 😎

I'm in PA and I've looked at the requirements of Pitt/Temple/USP/Jefferson/LECOM, but I'm also thinking about applying to Rutgers and maybe 2 or 3 other OOS.

My stats (as of now) are:
SAT - 1860, M-640/CR-600/WR-620
High School GPA 3.3
College GPA 3.44 (my college only records grades as A/B/C, etc...no credit is given for a 91 vs 100, it's only one number)
-The college GPA will be slowly rising, I've already realized CC is real college and my CC is actually very decent, they're are some professors who have written physics textbooks, have graduated from Ivies, and my school has a very competitive Nursing program
-I don't know my science/math gpa
-at this time, no extra currics ( I plan to volunteer at a hospital and try to get an entry level job at a pharmacy in a retail setting but I may lose my financial aid )

Courses Taken:
Semester 1
English 101 - A
Bio 102 w/Lab - B ( tested into via AP exam, I plan to take lower level Bio courses to not have to deal with ap exams during Pharmacy admissions)
Speech - B
Pre Calc - B (87)

Semester 2
English 102 - A
Chem 100 w/Lab - A
Art History - A
Calc - B (88)

Summer Semester
Chem 101 w/Lab - Currently an A
Calc 2 - has not started yet, thinking about dropping

Fall Semester 11-12
Chem 102 w/lab
Econ Macro
Stats
A&P I w/Lab

I was planning to take the following courses but now I'm unsure because many of the schools in my state don't require them:
Calc 2 (many only require Calc 1/Precalc/Stats)
Macro AND Micro (many only require 3 credits)
Physics I AND II (many schools require two, but some only need I)
Anatomy & Physiology I AND II (alot of schools only need 3 credits)
Microbiology (only 3 school, requires this and they're Duquesne/Jefferson/U of Sciences in Philadelpia)

At this time, my biggest concern is the Calc 2 and the Chem 102.
I've taken two general chem courses already, do I need a 3rd?
Also, what about the Calc 2, it seems like a no brainer to drop it, and it hasn't even started yet.

Are there any other schools I should be looking at?

I doubt anyone here is familiar with the exact classes you're talking about.. eg. "chem 102"... Just make sure to get your general biology, anatomy/phys, microbio, gen chem, o chem, and trig/precalc. After that you should be PREPARED to take the PCAT, but there are no pre-reqs for the test itself.

Other than that, pre-reqs are different for each school.

Make a list of all the different schools that you want to apply to and then make a master list of the pre-reqs. Obviously those are the classes you should take.

Regardless, chem 1 and 2, bio 1 and 2, organic 1 and 2 and calculus will all be required to go to all pharm schools. Those are also the classes to take for the PCAT.
