Hello all! So here's some back story--

I finished my BS with a double major of genetics and microbio about 5 years ago, but had a Horrible GPA (around 2.7, had an upwards trend though.)

Spent a year doing agriculture research, then went back to finish an associates in radiology tech at a community college with a 3.9 cGPA. Also retook a lot of original core science classes.

I took the MCAT twice, I scored a 27 in 2014, and a 514 a month ago.

I also have experience as a rad tech for a year, and have shadowing and volunteer experience.

I originally was applying to DO programs but wanted to try some MD programs since receiving the latest MCAT score. I feel a little lost on which MD schools I should apply to, if any.

What are my chances at MD school? (Not sure what my science gpa is off hand, it's close if not higher than my cgpa in both colleges if that helps.)

Ah, sorry, I didn't see that sticky before--thank you for your help.

I live in Ohio, but I would like to go to a school outside the state.

I'll update this with a calculated GPA when I can.

Regardless of the GPA Ohio schools are going to be your best bet. Because your GPA is most likely mid to lie 3s I would say to actually focus on your Ohio schools, but update us with the actual number
