I know there have been mixed feelings about Interfolio on here so I just wanted to share my positive experience.

It cost me $26 to have my letters ready to go and sent on June 3rd from my 4 letter writers. I printed my matching forms and uploaded them to Interfolio on June 3rd and had all 8 documents delivered to my AADSAS. They arrived in my account yesterday, and everything is ready to go.

It has been very convenient knowing that all my letters are done, and I don't need to pester anyone on their summer vacation to upload a letter for me.

Same here, quite efficient I must say👍

Perhaps you can help me with a question I have regarding recommendations and Interfolio.

I will not be applying until next year (2014), but have two professors that I would like to ask for recommendations. What is the best way to handle this utilizing Interfolio? I want to ask for these letters sooner rather than later.

Thanks

Does the LOR matching form need to be signed by the evaluators?

Actually read the matching form and tell us if it needs signing or not. You can probably figure it out

Same here, except I paid more for 3 year subscription. I contacted my letter writers in September of last year, recieved all letters to Interfolio around January of this year. On June 3rd, I printed matching forms and had Interfolio do its delivery. Two days later AADSAS updated that all my LORs are in!

So easy!

Now, on to getting my transcripts into AADSAS. I have 6 of them ...sigh...

Not bad. All of mine have been in as well, but I just had all 4 people upload them online through AADSAS. I think Interfolio is useful for some, and not needed for others

Sorry I hadn't followed up on this thread...

Once you have your account, there is an option to request confidential letter of recommendation. You can have interfolio send this request electronically or with snail-mail instructions. Once you're logged in, it's pretty straightforward, and I think they are updating their user interface too, so it might be even easier once you get to it.

When you apply next year, you print the matching forms from your application when you fill it out and write in some of your letter-writer information like name and address. There is no need for them to sign the matching form. Then, you can scan in your matching forms and send all of your documents to AADSAS at once (you choose the order of the documents you want sent). It only took 2 days for AADSAS to process my LOE's this way.
