First, if I've volunteered at a local dental clinic, should I included that in the dental section, or the volunteer/community service section, or does it really not matter?

Second, what exactly are we supposed to briefly talk about for all the dentists we've shadowed? What we saw or the dentist them self? Any examples? All I seem to putting down is stuff like "observed many procedures in orthodontia" or whatever

Lastly, I am a member of pre-dental club and will be the president next year. Even though I haven't started, am I able to mention that?

Also, for any section when it asks for Position Title, is it asking for my position title, or say, a dentist's position title (D.M.D)?

1. You can include it in either or even both for that matter, i have seen both strategies done successfully. However, i would council to put it in the section that needs the most "beefing up". IE: You have 7 activities for dental experience, but only 4 for volunteering, put it in the volunteering.

2. I just listed my responsibilities in bullet form. They give you so little characters, i simply made a list to maximize efficacy. You could also list the "procedures" you observed and general observations about the dental office. EX: Procedures observed: root canals, alveoplasty, extraction, etc. General practice observations: patient charting, sterilization, insurance billing, etc.

3. If you are already elected, then put you will be president for the upcoming year.

Put the title you had at the time of the event. IE: Observer, volunteer, dental assistant, patient coordinator, translator, etc.
