I have a few questions regarding pre-reqs.
1) Some schools require anatomy and physiology as seperate classes with 3 units for each class. At my school both classes are combined into a 4 unit class. Does this one class satisfy the requirement?
2) If a school only looks at pre-req GPA and you had a repeat of a pre-req class, do both grades count?
3) If for instance a class has 3 required semester hours and my class has 4, does my gpa get readjusted somehow to a 3 semester class or do I calculate the way I normally would?

Sorry these questions may seem stupid but I'd appreciate if someone helped me out.
Thanks!
p.s. if you guys need me to explain some questions better i can

Hi,
1) I called up a few schools and asked them if it would be okay to take the classes separately, because in my case my school only offers them alone, they said it was fine as long as I had 8 credits for Anatomy and physiology together. So contact the schools your applying to 🙂

I have a question about anatomy and physio if anyone would like to answer it
My question is I took Human Anatomy (which i didnt do so well in 4credits) separate from Physiology (4 credits). Now i want to retake Human Anatomy and physiology 1 (a combined course) at a local State college because they dont offer them separately, would it look weird if i dont take Human Anatomy and physio 2? I did well in Physiology so now i'm stuck on what to do.

2) Most schools average out the grade, but then again some schools are different. You can find out if the policy on your school if you look at their pharmcas website, or search this forum.

3) Either way you calculate it the gpa will appear roughly the same. But the schools will give you the amount of credits they require. So you should calculate with 3 in order to get a better estimation
