I'll be graduating from a Big Ten University with a degree in Finance in three months. My undergrad GPA will be roughly 3.3. I've decided what I truly want to do is become a doctor and from what I've read in the various posts on the program, it seems like it might be right for me. I've read about the course load in the extension program and I'm certain I could handle it. My less than stellar undergrad GPA stems from lack of motivation. Anyway, I have a few questions about the program I was hoping some people could help me out with.
1) Because I'm a Finance major I haven't taken any of the pre-requisite courses. My understanding is that the HCP program is designed specifically for this type of student. Is this correct?
2) Are there any application deadlines for entry into the program? I would like to apply after I complete this final semester for entry in Fall 09. Would this be a problem? Should I apply sooner?
3) Is my 3.3 GPA sufficient to get me into the HCP program? I currently don't have any clinical experience. Is this going to be a problem when applying?
4) If I am accepted into the HCP program I am considered a full time student and thus get access to Harvard libraries and workout facilities correct? I only ask because I read a post where somebody said they didn't have access to these things. I was under the impression this was because they didn't get accepted into the HCP program but were taking the same courses via open enrollemnt (meaning they are not eligible for sponsorship?). Could somebody clear this up?
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks
