My favorite chapter in AP Cliffs.
Did anyone actually memorize all these phylums...can I skip this or does it come up on the test?
I understand we should know everything about the Kingdom Animalia that is fair. but the rest...
im thinkng the same thing as you guys... the cliffs ap is very detailed when it comes to these kingdoms. are the different life cycles of each and every type of organism important to know? what about the different kinds of protista or fungi (names, features)? the kaplan BB doesnt have even close to as much detail as the cliffs on this subject...
I don't know. I feel like I had the weirdest Bio II class because we memorized all of that stuff. It's so weird how different schools learn completely different things.
I took DAT already and i would say that make sure u know everything about five kingdoms. pay more attention to kingdom animalia. try to find as much info as u can about kingdom animalia.
I took the DAT...you should know the Kingdoms and Phylums really well. Pay special attention to the specific characteristics that for each phylum. Seriously, all of them.

That sucks.. So is it enough to know the distinguishing characteristics of each phyla, about 1/3 way down under "lists" ,"animal Phyla" ,"plant divisions" and "fungal divisions"?:

Don't feel weird, we had to know all of it as well. Our bio teacher would give us hypothetical characteristics and have us pick which phylum, class, order, it would belong to.
