In light of the fact that it is already April 2nd, I guess I have a humble request.

If you are holding an acceptance or waitlist at an institution that you really don't want to attend, please withdraw as soon as possible, so as to get things rolling. I don't mean to rush anyone in the process, I just hope (as everyone does) that things moved a little bit faster; and this can truly be done if all of us cooperate with each others needs.

This request goes out especially to those on the Einstein or Sinai waitlist. . .

isidella just got off the mayo waitlist, right? did a million people withdraw because I just did too. decision making paralysis!

I haven't withdrawn from Mayo yet. I thought that their becoming MSTP would convince them to fix some things that I didn't like about their program. It didn't.

I will be withdrawing from Mayo today or tomorrow though. So if anyone else is waiting on them...

I am just going to wait to hear from chicago, revist wash u next weekend and take things from there. I really like it here in Jacksonville, and I don't know of another community of neurodegeneration researchers like this one.

The biggest problem for me is that I am not enthusiastic about breaking up my life (2 yrs in MN, 4 here, 2 more in MN). The payback clause is also frightening.

Then again, Loretta would be an awesome class mate!
