A LATE Application and DAT scores

Hi guys. Am I the last DAT taker on Earth for 2003? I applied in early November, but I'm taking the DAT on monday. I know, i know, i REALLY should have taken it earlier. so I'm getting anxious about being too late.

Luckily I feel prepared overall, except perhaps for PAT. but I just can't seem to improve on the PAT.

I have 2 questions:

1. After you finished your DAT how did you email/ fax your results? Do the schools wait until your official results from the ADA to act? How long does it take for the official results to arrive?

2. i'm getting really nervous. It's sooo late and I fear that classes are already mostly full. I have a good GPA and (hopefully) good scores, so I hope that I can start interviewing ASAP. My only scheduled interview to date is at Temple on 1/31.

i would call each school and ask if they accept your inofficial copy. most of them would gladly take it and put it in ur file, (maybe they'll grant you an interview over the phone!!! ) but some don't. so be careful.
when you go to ur temple interview, bring your score report with you and update it with the interviewer or the admission staff. 🙂

Qoo is right on the money - send those apps and an unofficial copy of the score report.

For the Texas system, it took about 9 days total from the day I finished the DAT to when the TX system received it. Hope this gives you a better idea on the timing of official score reports. I took my DAT in mid-Oct...
