I purchased my TBR books from a person last year and she said that she had taken the course recently (so in like late 09 or early 2010)? I was looking through my TBR books and saw that many of the books have different copyrighted dates. How can that be if it was all given in a class in 2009 or 2010?

For example the physics book (part I) is copyrighted as 2003, 2000, 1997, 1996, etc.

Where as the G-Chem book (Part I) is copyrighted as 2007, 2003, 2001, 2000, 1995, etc

The biology book (part I) is copyrighted as 2003, 2000, 1997, etc.

I was wondering if you guys can look at your TBR books and tell me if it's copyrighted similarly. How do I find out which edition I have? Is the physics book from the 2003 edition and the G chem from 2007?

For Physics I, the copyright I have listed is 2009, 2008, 2006, 2003, and so on.
For Gen Chem I, the copyright listed is 2010, 2007, 2003, 2001, 2000, and so on.

I don't own Biology though.

The last publication date on your book is the basically the edition of the book you have.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed the g-chem part II has a different copyrighted date. It's 2005, 2002, etc. Does your G-chem part II have different dates?

When did you buy your book? Did you get buy it directly from the BR website?

I am beginning to think I got scammed a little.

It says 2009, 2008, 2007, and then 2005, 2002...

I didn't buy the Physics or Organic books. A friend gave them to me recently and I believe he purchased them last year. I also purchased Gen Chem last year from a person who just purchased them from the website (brand new), but decided not to use them.

I think the person who sold to you mislead you into thinking they were recent editions. However, I don't think any substantial changes were made between my edition and yours. However, there is a substantial difference between my physics edition and the new physics edition (lots of new things were added in last year's publication).
