hi guys...
i want to ask you about something i'm so confused about...
i want to enter pharmacy school..which is my dream since i was little
but my parents say dental or medical school is better ...because pharmacist don't have an A class living=(
my brothers are doctors and dentists...so i'm the only one who thinks pharmacy is awesome
all i want is a high level of living ..i don't want to become a millionaire..
so any advises..??and what do you think of pharmacist salary..?
i really appreciate the help^^

Pharmacists do not have an "A" class living due to extreme competition for jobs and high job stress. It will soon become a "C" or "D" grade as pharmacy schools continue to open and pump out more graduates each year. Salaries are expected to drop, whereas tuition, student debt, and unemployment continue to rise.

Software engineering will give you a high standard of living and may even make you a millionaire. You can earn far more than a pharmacist without having to take out $200k+ in loans, and have multiple job offers before you even complete your degree in computer science because they are in such high demand.

If software engineering doesn't fit your interests then you can also consider finance (accounting, investment banking, actuary, etc.) or other engineering disciplines. Unlike the health professions, these fields do not require you to take out tons of loans and go through an additional 4+ years of schooling.
