So I'm a Post-Bac student at UNTHSC currently, and I am interviewing at TCOM tomorrow.

While I am excited about this, this is my second time to apply and I still have yet to hear back from another school. My application verified through TMDSAS on 7/20/09.

My credentials are as follows:

MCAT- 29Q

Undergrad BioChemistry B.S.-Overall 3.35 GPA

I know the GPA is what is hurting me, but I would like to know if someone with similar credentials got interviews anywhere else other than D.O. schools? I have lots of extracurricular(I know that's vague..), but I would just like some basic guidance.

Thanks to whomever can help.

My AMCAS GPA was a little lower than yours but my MCAT was higher (32). So far I have an interview at one allopathic school and no rejections.

Chances are that you may have to go the DO route, but who cares? I liked one DO school so much that I really don't care as much as I thought I would about the interview at the allopathic school.

Best of luck.

I think its a mental thing with me at this point. I have this interview, but you want some sort of gratification, another interview, for working so hard. I just feel like it's going to be D-Day tomorrow.

Haha. Trust me, it's not that bad. Rehearse some answers ahead of time, and get yourself pumped up for it. Your stats are competitive. You worked hard to get to this point, and this school has noticed. The interview is a lot less stressful than the MCAT for sure! Just make sure you apply broadly.

All the best.
